Absolutely made our reunion weekend fantastic! 18 of us came and we were served by the nicest staff. The food was all hot and delicious and absolutely hit the spot. The Santa Fe burger was a huge hit with our group who all gave high praise to the food. We would recommend anyone needing a great meal to come here.

First photo is The Beast, a cheeseburger topped with an elk sausage. Second photo is their elk sausage, topped with cheese, sauteed onions, and house sauce. Maverick's Grille is a legit establishment. Chill, down-to-Earth, local establishment. The food is terrific and substantial and the service is wonderful. A relaxed Granby atmosphere without the Breckenridge pretentiousness.

My partner and I are foodies and their meatloaf is such a flavorful and wonderfully textured dish. All of the different types of meats (including elk and bison) came together for something truly indulgent and pleasant without having too red or gamey of a taste. Well balanced in spices and ingredients, that's a meal we won't forget anytime soon.

Stopped in Granby for lunch. Wife a roast beef sandwich with au jus. I had one of the specials Beast Burger with elk sausage. Fries were great and the au jus too. Waitress was really friendly and attentive. Full bar off the main dining, restrooms were clean.

Found this place by chance, and it turned out to be a great experience!! They have a robust menu for a small town restaurant. Their house made guacamole was awesome! Along with the fresh chips. I even put some on my burger. THE BEAST!! If I'm remembering the name correctly. . Anyway, it came out cooked perfectly! Juicy patty, the spicy elk sausage wasn't overly spicy and all the fixings just brought it all together. My wife had the ham and cheddar, definitely had good flavor, but it seemed to suck the moisture right out of my mouth. Easily remedied with a little sauce of some sort. The fries were crisp and delicious! I made some fry sauce to go with them, and I probably ate more of those than I did my own chips. Definitely worth the stop, get in there, get some friendly service and great food!

Older restaurant. Not much to speak about for atmosphere. Looks like they do live music sometimes, but not the night we visited. The food was pretty good. Tried the meatloaf. Great flavor but a little dry/tough but the gravy helped though. I’d order it again. It came with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. We also tried the mushroom Swiss burger with fries with was also pretty good. The Colorado Cowgirl was probably the best dish that hit the table. It was delicious! Ordered the homemade chips with it which were also good. 71 for 3 people for sandwiches/burgers but I think that’s about average for the area. 1 waitress to service the entire restaurant. She did a great job and was really nice.

We were pleasantly surprised by Mavericks. All 3 of us had the Reuben and chips (delicious). Whatever the seasoning is on the chips made them! If we find ourselves in Granby again, we would definitely come back!
